CATALOGUES

Greer Adams Fine Art has curated a number of landmark selling exhibitions dedicated to significant Australian Indigenous artists including Janangoo Butcher Cherel (c.1920-2009), Pijaju Peter Skipper (c.1929-2007), Jarinyanu David Downs (c.1925-1995) and Anatjari Tjakamarra (c.1938-1992).

The majority of paintings within these exhibitions showcase major works from the artist’s oeuvres and in many cases, the earliest known examples to be painted by the artists. The catalogues act as important time capsules documenting these historically significant bodies of work. Essays are included in each publication by leading art historians and Aboriginal art academics.

While many of these paintings have been acquired by Australian and International public institutions, private and corporate collections nationally and internationally, please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to enquire about what work may be available.
